Are you going through a divorce or separation? Do you need a safe space to share your feelings and experiences with others who can relate? If you answered yes to either of these questions, you might be interested in forming a Divorce Support Group at UUFR. This is a new initiative at UUFR to provide emotional support to those who are facing the challenges of ending a marriage or a long-term relationship. If there is enough interest, the Group will meet once a month at a date and time chosen by the group members. The Group will be open to anyone who identifies as a divorcee or a separated person, or who is going through a divorce or separation, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. All you need is a willingness to share your story and listen to others with compassion and respect. If you are interested in participating in the Divorce Support Group, please contact Rev. Sasha by Sunday, September 10th. She will get back to you to schedule a gathering for interested people to discuss next steps. Per UUFR’s Rule of 5, we need at least five people to participate in this group in order to launch it.
