Join us in forming a new UUFR ministry team to support the LGBTQIA+ community.  There is already lots of important work underway: 
*** UUFR is certified as a Welcoming Community
*** Parents of Transgender Offspring group
*** Team piloting a workshop series on Transgender Including Congregations
*** Booth at the annual Out Raleigh pride event
*** Annual Transgender Day of Visibility. 

Forming an over-arching UUFR LGBTQIA+ Ministry Team will unite our efforts and provide an official place in the UUFR structure and budget. We can work together as a cohesive team to welcome, learn, discuss, network, and act to support LGBTQIA+ people in our congregation, community, and world. This could include creating awareness, inclusion, and political advocacy for equal rights and protection.
