ONE Wake Team Meeting: UUFR’s ONE Wake Team: Monday, September 11th, 7:00 pm (Zoom) – This team assists Rev. James in facilitating UUFR’s involvement in ONE Wake, a multi-faith, multi-racial, multicultural community organizing network of more than 40 congregations. If you are new to UUFR or looking for a new way to serve that will not only make a difference in the life of our congregation but also make a difference in the lives of some of the most vulnerable members of our community, I encourage you to attend this meeting. Cary Town Council Candidate Assembly: Monday, September 18th, 7:00 pm, (Greenwood Forest Baptist Church, Cary) – ONE Wake will hold a Cary Town Council Candidate Assembly to urge Cary Town Council Candidates to support ONE Wake’s affordable housing agenda.
