For 20 years, UUFR has strongly supported our LGBT+ community, their families and friends through signing and donating to PFLAG Triangle’s signature ad in the Indy Week newspaper leading up to Durham Pride in late September. Donation deadline is Wednesday, September 13th. Money raised helps cover the ad cost, and funds PFLAG’s ongoing advocacy, education and support work in the Triangle (including virtual support groups that have continued twice monthly meetings, even through the pandemic). Its widespread visibility in the Indy Week Pride issue helps affirm UUFR as a Welcoming Congregation. In support of our Fellowship as a truly LGBTQ+ affirming faith community, let’s have another wonderful listing of UUFR names in 2023!  The ad will run in late September in the Indy Week. As in the past, a donation of $15 per household is suggested.
