Your Board met on 12/12 to vote for our new Interim Treasurer.

We are pleased to announce that Paul Groves will be joining your Board as Interim Treasurer for the remainder of the church year.

Paul and his wife Nancy are longtime UU’s who joined UUFR in 2014 (Nancy is a lifelong UU). In the relatively short time they’ve been in Raleigh, Paul has served on UUFR’s Stewardship Committee, Finance Committee, and on our Board of Directors as Treasurer from 2020-2022. As Paul left the Treasurer position 1.5 years ago, he developed our “Past Treasurer” position which supports a smooth leadership transition through mentoring for the incoming Treasurer. We are grateful for Paul’s willingness to serve again so quickly after leaving this position (and his recent role as Past Treasurer) and look forward to our work together.
