The violence currently occurring in Israel/Gaza and Ukraine is horrifying and traumatizing. Many innocent civilians are trapped, fearing for their lives and caught up in bloodshed over which they have control. Doctors Without Borders is committed to helping these most vulnerable individuals: At Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), our teams provide a lifeline to millions of patients experiencing war and conflict, disease outbreaks, natural disasters, and more. We treat any patient, regardless of their race, religion, ethnicity, or politics. As believers in the universal worth and dignity of all people, we affirm that everyone deserves the right to medical treatment and wish to support this life-saving work. What: Help For The Healers will unite performers and creatives from our community in an afternoon of music, poetry and fellowship. This fundraiser will generate much needed funds to assist MSF in continuing their vital efforts. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase poetry books. Beverages and refreshments will be served at the reception following the concert and reading.
