Roll up your sleeves and join us for a volunteer morning, Tuesday, May 14th, about 8:30 to 11:30, and/or afternoon Saturday, May 18th, about noon to 4 pm, (times to be fine-tuned SOON). Learn about and participate in regenerative farming, creating biochar, planting, harvesting, etc. Lots to learn from CSA Farmer Steve at their Rocky Ridge Farm, Louisburg!! Family-friendly adventure! There will be lunch (Teriyaki chicken, green beans, a potato dish, drinks, utensils) at the end of Tuesday’s venture. Folks also are welcome to BYO or propose bringing vegetarian dishes. IMPORTANT: We need to know how many are coming to plan tasks and foods. Carpooling is encouraged, and at least one car will be leaving from UUFR about one hour before above times on each day (but we need to know if you want to offer or need a ride!).
